Therefore, TMMIN always carries out Environment Month every June 5 that coincide with the World Environment Day.
Toyota Forest is TMMIN's initiative to preserve the ecology and to develop an environmentally-friendly factory. The main objective of this initiative is, among others, to build a factory that is in harmony with nature.
Toyota Forest was initiated to replant the area of 1 ha which was become an open land area for the purpose of building the Karawang 2 plant. A total of 10,000 trees become the target of this reforestation attempt, ranging from rare trees and native species such as Gandaria, Keben, Spathodea, Sawo, Durian, and many others.
